Hyderabad: The Raidurgam police booked a case against a contractor of the electricity department for allegedly illegally hiding electric meters.

As per available information, K Chennakesava Reddy, contractor who had been associated with the electricity department for the past few years, had illegally hidden as many as 42 electricity meters related to released services in a house at Telecom Nagar.


Based on a complaint from the electricity department officials, the Raidurgam police booked a case and took up investigation.
