Hyderabad: Two women sustained minor injuries after a man, reportedly suffering from mental health issues, pelted stones at them at Secunderabad on Saturday.
According to the police, the man, aged around 35 years, was apparently suffering from mental health issues and took stones from the road and threw them at pedestrians, resulting in injuries to two women. He also damaged windscreens of two vehicles.
Local people caught hold of him and thrashed him before handing him over to the police, who shifted him to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. The injured women were also sent to hospital.
The police are investigating.
