Hyderabad: Man dies after being attacked with metal knuckles in Attapur

A 24-year-old air-conditioning technician, Mohd Hussain alias Waseem, was beaten to death by a group of unidentified persons in Hyderabad’s Attapur on Saturday night. The attackers allegedly snatched his mobile phone before chasing and assaulting him with metal knuckles.

Hyderabad: An air-conditioning servicing technician was brutally beaten to death by a group of people at Attapur on Saturday night.

The man, Mohd Hussain alias Waseem (24), a resident of Langer Houz, was going on the Attapur Road when a group of persons waylaid him and snatched away his mobile phone near Khushi Function Hall.

When the victim tried to escape, they chased and caught hold of him and brutally beat him up with metal knuckles, leading to head injuries. The man died on the spot due to injuries, said Inspector Attapur, K Nageshwar Rao.

The police registered a case and started an investigation.
