Hyderabad: A man, allegedly upset over incurring huge losses in his business, died by suicide by falling under a speeding train at Charlapalli railway station on Wednesday midnight.
According to Secunderabad GRP police, S Satish Kumar (46), who ran a wholesale footwear business, was staying with his wife and two children at Ramnagar. He had been struggling with depression for several months due to ongoing business losses.
Despite encouragement from his family, he remained distressed. Following the death of his brother earlier this week, he accompanied his family to Mahabubabad.
On Wednesday around 11.30 pm, Satish Kumar reached Charlapalli railway station and allegedly ended his life by falling under a speeding goods train. The loco pilot noticed his body on the tracks and informed the railway police, who reached the spot and took up investigation.
