Hyderabad: An unidentified man was murdered by some persons at Gandhinagar in the city on Friday morning.
The assailants had killed the man, aged around 40 years, after slitting his throat and later throwing a stone on his head. The body was found lying in a pool of blood near the Kalpana theatre by local people who alerted the police.
The Gandhinagar police reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary. Police suspect that the man might have been a footpath dweller and was killed by some persons known to him last night.
A case was registered and investigation is on.
