Hyderabad: A man was murdered by unidentified persons at Bhagyalatha Colony in Hayathnagar on the city outskirts on Tuesday.
The victim, Kashi Rao (38), a businessman, was attacked with sharp weapons on his neck in his office and he died on the spot, according to the police.
Investigators suspect that the victim was killed by persons known to him who came to his office. A previous enmity is suspected to be the reason for the killing.
Local residents found the body and alerted the police. The CLUES Team and Dog Squad visited the spot and collected samples. The CCTV footage from the surveillance cameras are being examined to identify the killers and nab them at the earliest.
The Hayathnagar police have launched an investigation and shifted the victim’s body to Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
