Hyderabad: Man gets 10-year jail in sodomy case
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 16,000 on the convict and ordered Rs 5 lakh compensation to the victim

Hyderabad: A local court on Thursday sentenced a man to undergo rigourous imprisonment for a period of 10 years in the sodomy case of a minor boy reported in Saroornagar in 2018.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 16,000 on the convict and ordered Rs 5 lakh compensation to the victim.
The convict Mohd Abdul Majid (23), a house keeping staff at a government residential hostel, had overpowered and sodomised the boy in the hostel.
The Saroornagar police booked a case and subsequently arrested Majid.
