Hyderabad: A local court on Tuesday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a POCSO case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs.20,000 on him.
Yedla Ramesh, a resident of Adarshnagar, was arrested by the Saifabad police in 2018 for raping a minor girl after kidnapping her. The police registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, POSCO Act and SC & ST Act against him.
On Tuesday, the court after trial convicted him and announced the jail term.
