Hyderabad: Man held for cheating job aspirants of Rs 20 lakh
Nacharam police arrested a man for allegedly cheating unemployed youth by promising railway jobs and collecting Rs 20 lakh from them. The accused and his associates reportedly took money from 20 job aspirants but failed to provide the promised employment.

Hyderabad: The Nacharam police arrested a man for allegedly cheating unemployed youth by promising government jobs and collecting large sums of money from them here on Saturday.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Malkha Narasimha Rao (55), a resident of Uppal, along with two associates, Balraju and Lakshmi, assured railway jobs within six months. Between 2024 and 2025, the trio reportedly collected Rs 1 lakh each from 20 unemployed youths from Mallapur, amounting to a total of Rs 20 lakh.
However, the promised jobs did not materialise. When the victims demanded their money back, the accused allegedly avoided them and gave evasive replies.
Following a complaint by one of the victims, the Nacharam police registered a case and took up the investigation.
