Hyderabad: The Pahadishareef police on Friday arrested a man on charges of kidnapping and sexually harassing a four-year-old girl.
The arrested person, T Ramesh (20), an auto-rickshaw driver from Mamidipally village in Balapur in Ranga Reddy allegedly kidnapped the girl, who was playing in front of her house, on Thursday and took her to a secluded place nearby, misbehaved and made sexual advances towards her. By then, the infant’s anxious parents who started searching for her in the neighbourhood found her with Ramesh. They caught him and handed him over to the patrol police vehicle staff of the Pahadishareef police.
He was produced before court and remanded in judicial custody.
