Hyderabad: The Nacharam police arrested a man on charges of making adulterated tea powder on Tuesday. They seized 336 sachets of adulterated tea powder of various brands from him.
According to the police, G. Jithender (42), a resident of Ganesh Nagar in Uppal and a native of Warangal, was for the past four months clandestinely packing low quality tea powder into covers of various tea brands and selling the same.
A case was booked.
