Hyderabad man held for selling banned oxytocin injections used in dairy animals
The Uppal Special Operations Team arrested a 56-year-old man for allegedly selling banned oxytocin injections used to artificially enhance milk production in dairy animals. Five vials were seized during a raid at Maktha village, and Pocharam IT Corridor police are investigating.
Hyderabad: The Uppal Special Operations Team (SOT) arrested a man for allegedly selling banned oxytocin injections used to artificially enhance milk production in dairy animals.
Acting on a tip-off, the team conducted a raid at Maktha village under the Pocharam IT Corridor Police Station limits and nabbed M Rangaiah Yadav (56).
Police seized five vials of banned oxytocin injections from his possession.
Officials found that the Rangaiah, who runs a water plant business, was allegedly involved in the illegal sale of the prohibited drug.
The seized injections were handed over to the Pocharam IT Corridor police, who are investigating.
