Hyderabad: The Saifabad police arrested a person for allegedly threatening a businessman and demanding Rs.20 lakh from him.
According the police, the businessman Suresh Kumar Agarwal, met the suspect Sunil Kumar Agarwal and the latter took up a construction-related work as asked by him. As Suresh Kumar was not satisfied with the work of Sunil, he terminated the contract.
“Sunil started threatening Suresh Kumar of performing black magic on him and demanded that he pay Rs.20 lakh or hand over a piece of land at Shamshabad. Based on a complaint lodged by Suresh, a case has been booked and the suspect was arrested,” Saifabad Sub-inspector P Sunitha said.
