Hyderabad: Man held with 7 country-made guns, 11 live rounds
The police seized seven locally made weapons and 11 live rounds from him.

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda Special Operations Team caught a man who was allegedly in possession of country-made weapons on Saturday. The police seized seven locally made weapons and 11 live rounds from him.
The man B Sai Ram Reddy, a native of Andhra Pradesh and residing at Suraram had purchased the seven weapons including a pistol, a revolver, a tapancha and four air pistols along with 11 live rounds.
“Sai Ram planned to sell the weapons and earn money. On receiving specific information, the SOT caught him and seized the weapons,” said G Sudheer Babu, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda.
Sai Ram, was previously involved in theft cases and was sent to jail.
The police are making efforts to nab the person who sold the weapons to Sai Ram.
