Hyderabad: Man jailed for raping daughter in Saroornagar

The 42-year-old convict, who is a construction worker had threatened and raped the girl several times in their house

Hyderabad: A local court on Friday sentenced a man to life imprisonment in a rape case of his minor daughter which was reported at Saroornagar in 2023. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 30,000 on him.

The 42-year-old convict, who is a construction worker, had threatened and raped the girl several times in their house.

Based on the victim’s complaint, the Saroornagar police booked a case and arrested him.

The court also ordered a compensation of Rs 15 lakh to the victim.

Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu appreciated the investigation officer and team for their efforts in securing the conviction.
