Hyderabad: A cab driver, who went to his daughter’s house to resolve some family issues, was murdered allegedly by his son-in-law at Miyapur on Sunday.
The victim Shaik Hafeez who was a resident of Subash Chandra Bose Nagar in Hafeezpet went to the house of his daughter located at Aditynanagar in New Hafeezpet.
Miyapur Inspector, Venkatesh Shamala, said Hafeez went to resolve a dispute between his daughter and her husband, Omar. “Hafeez was attacked on head by Omar with a blunt object. He collapsed and died on the spot after suffering bleeding injuries,” he said.
On information, the police reached the spot and shifted the body for postmortem examination. A case was registered and efforts were on to nab Omar who went absconding after the incident.
