Hyderabad: Man killed in hit-and-run on Nagarjuna Sagar Highway

Hyderabad: In a hit-and-run incident, an unidentified man was killed on the spot by a rashly driven vehicle on the Nagarjuna Sagar Highway in Ibrahimpatnam on Wednesday.

The victim, suspected to be in his forties and a construction worker, was reportedly crossing the road when the vehicle ran over him.

He suffered grievous injuries to the head and other parts of the body and died on the spot.

The Ibrahimpatnam police have booked a case of negligence causing death and are examining surveillance camera footage from the area to trace the vehicle and the absconding driver.

All local police stations have been alerted to identify the victim.
