Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a man died while his wife was grievously injured after a rashly driven truck hit a couple at Chintal in Jeedimetla on Monday.
As per information available, a speeding lorry rammed into a couple identified as Ramesh and Latha, who were crossing the busy road. The husband died on the spot due to the impact.
The wife, who suffered grievous injuries, was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital in Chintal for treatment.
The Jeedimetla Police reached the spot, registered a case, and launched an investigation.
