Hyderabad man kills 3-year-old son, dumps body in Musi river

A Hyderabad man, Mohd Akbar, has been arrested for killing his three-year-old son Anaas and dumping the body in the Musi river. Police said the accused confessed he acted due to his inability to afford the child’s medical expenses.

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a man killed his three year old son and threw the body in river Musi.

The boy Anaas, stayed along with his family at Bandlaguda near Chandayangutta. His father Mohd Akbar, had lodged a complaint at the Bandlaguda police station that his son was missing for last three days.


During the investigation the police came to know that Akbar had killed his son by strangulation and dumped the body in the Musi river reportedly as he was unable to bear the medical expenditure of Anaas. The boy was suffering from health problems.

The Bandlaguda police have started efforts to retrieve the body from the Musi. A case is registered against Akbar for killing his son and screening the evidence.
