Hyderabad: Man kills father during drunken quarrel in Medchal

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a man allegedly murdered his father during a drunken brawl in Medchal on Tuesday night.

As per available information, Mohd Nizamuddin (56), a construction worker from Achhayipalli in Siddipet district, had a liquor party with his son Sheikh Sathak and his friend Raju near Prajay Water Front when the incident occurred.


After getting themselves drunk, Sathak had allegedly picked up an argument with his father in an inebriated condition over some issues. During the argument, Sathak, in a fit of rage, grabbed a boulder from the nearby spot and bludgeoned Nizamuddin to death.

On receiving information, the Medchal police reached the spot and took up an investigation. The police have detained Sheikh Sathak and his friend Raju.
