Hyderabad: Man kills sister, injures brother in knife attack over family dispute
The suspect, Madan Rao, visited his mother's residence in Old Malakpet on Wednesday night and got into an argument with his sister Laxmi (68) and elder brother Sudarshan (70) over a family matter.
Hyderabad: A man knifed his sister to death over family issues at Old Malakpet in the city on Wednesday night.
The suspect, Madan Rao went to the house of his mother located at Old Malakpet on Wednesday night and picked up a quarrel with his sister Laxmi (68) and elder brother Sudarshan (70) over some family issue.
In a fit of rage, Madan Mohan walked into the kitchen in the house, picked up a knife and then rushed towards Laxmi and Sudarshan and attacked them indiscriminately, said the police.
Laxmi died due to profuse bleeding an the spot while Sudarshan suffered injuries and shifted to hospital.
On information the police reached the spot and took into custody Madan Mohan. The man is reportedly suffering from mental health issues.
He was previously also involved in a similar case.
