Hyderabad: A man was murdered and buried by his father and brother allegedly over a property dispute in Madgul in Ranga Reddy district.
R Laxman (45), an agriculture worker and his both sons Naresh (28) and Suresh (25), natives of Gudi Thanda in Madgul, were staying at Wambay Colony in Baghlingampalli in Hyderabad and driving auto-rickshaws.
According to the police, the trio has been having frequent arguments with Suresh demanding his share in the property. During this, the trio went to their native place last to celebrate Dasara. After one such argument there, Laxman and Naresh hacked Suresh to death with a butcher’s knife.
The duo then put the body in an auto-rickshaw and drove it to their agriculture land and buried it in an attempt to conceal any evidence. They further returned to Hyderabad and did their daily chores as usual. However, on Wednesday, they returned to their village and surrendered before the Madgul police and confessed the murder.
They were taken into custody and Suresh’s body was exhumed from the agricultural land and sent to the government for autopsy.
