Hyderabad: A man was killed at Moinabad, allegedly by his wife and her friend, on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim Rakesh Kumar (24) was married to Poonam Devi (23) a few years ago, and the couple are natives of Bihar. They came to work at the dairy farm of one Sama Rupesh, located at Aziznagar village in Moinabad.
In July, Rupesh appointed Rakesh and his wife, Poonam, to take care of the dairy farm and do related work there. On Friday evening, Rupesh went to the dairy farm as usual to collect milk when he found the body of Rakesh lying in a corner in the dairy farm. Poonam was missing and not reachable by phone, too.
“Two days prior to the incident, a man named Mahesh Sani, alias Guddu, visited the dairy farm and stayed there with the couple. We suspect Guddu and Poonam might have killed Rakesh and escaped from the place,” said G Pawan Kumar, Inspector, Moinabad police station.
A case is registered and efforts are started to nab Poonam and Guddu, who are absconding.
