Hyderabad: Man murdered at Santoshnagar
The victim Mohd Mohid , a resident of Santoshnagar was stabbed near Dargah Burhan-e-Shah, at Riyasatsagar under Santosnagar police station area.
Hyderabad: An 18-year-old youngster was murdered at Santoshnagar on Wednesday night. The victim Mohd Mohid , a resident of Santoshnagar was stabbed near Dargah Burhan-e-Shah, at Riyasatsagar under Santosnagar police station area.
Following the incident, the victim was rushed to a private hospital where doctors pronounced him dead. The police on being alerted about the development rushed to the scene of offense and launched an investigation.
According to the police, there were some issue between the victim and a group of individuals and apparently a quarrel, over the same issue, broke-out between them on Wednesday evening.
Later in the night, the group of yet to be identified individuals, on coming to known that Mohid was located near the Burhan-e-Shah Dargah, reached there and were holding discussions when one of them took out a knife and stabbed Mohid.
Tension prevailed for a while in the area after the relatives of the victim gathered and demanded the police initiate action against the culprits.
The police took into custody at least two people who are involved in the incident.
