Hyderabad: Man stabbed over financial dispute
According to the police, two persons, Nawaz and Santosh, have had some disputes between them over small amounts of money for the last few months.
Hyderabad: A person was stabbed following an argument over financial issues at Chilkalguda on Saturday late night.
According to the police, two persons, Nawaz and Santosh, have had some disputes between them over small amounts of money for the last few months. On Saturday night , they met near a medical store at Chilkalguda where again a discussion over money took place between them.
“During the discussion when an argument ensued between them, Nawaz took out a knife and stabbed Santosh with it,” said Chilkalguda police. The victim sustained injuries and was rushed to Gandhi Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
On information, the Chilkalguda police reached the spot and after preliminary investigation registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of Indian Penal Code. Efforts are on to nab Nawaz, the police said.
In another case, one person was injured when two groups clashed at Begumpet.
According to the police, a person Pradeep, had come to the Begumpet Illahi Masjid area to meet some persons.
Pradeep, along with some other persons who were in an inebriated state were having a loud argument when one person Muneer asked them to leave the place as it was causing disturbance to the local residents. However, Pradeep picked up an argument with Muneer, who called his friends.
“Both groups beat each other with their hands resulting in injuries to Pradeep. He is shifted to hospital,” said Begumpet police. A case is registered.
