Hyderabad: Man stabs mother to death in SR Nagar

According to the police, B Santosh (23) lived along with his mother Sangeeta (50) at Balkampet under the SR Nagar police station limits. The man was caught by the police on a few instances for his involvement in petty property

Hyderabad: A 23-year-old youngster, allegedly involved in various property offences, stabbed his mother to death at SR Nagar in the city on Saturday afternoon.

According to the police, B Santosh (23) lived along with his mother Sangeeta (50) at Balkampet under the SR Nagar police station limits. The man was caught by the police on a few instances for his involvement in petty property offences. Reportedly a ganja addict, he was recently released from prison.

On Saturday, he had an argument with his mother, during which he stabbed her to death. The SR Nagar police have reached the spot and are investigating. Efforts are on to nab Santosh who went absconding.
