Hyderabad: Man undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital ends life
A 37-year-old man admitted to Gandhi Hospital after consuming pesticide due to financial debts died by suicide by jumping from a third-floor window early on Monday. Hospital staff tried to revive him, but he died. Chilkalguda police have begun investigation.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a male patient undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital died by suicide after jumping from the hospital building on Monday.
According to the police, the victim, Narender (37), a resident of Vangapalli in Yadagirigutta, had allegedly consumed pesticide on December 1 due to mounting financial debts. His family immediately shifted him to Gandhi Hospital, where he was admitted to the Emergency Block’s AMC ward.
However, on Monday around 2am, while still under treatment, Narender reportedly went to the ward bathroom and jumped out of the third-floor window. He fell to the ground and suffered grievous injuries. The hospital staff who noticed him rushed to his aid and tried to revive him, but he had died by then.
The Chilkalguda police have taken up investigation.
