Hyderabad: The first-of-its-kind restaurant in Hyderabad, Manchi Baphe, a fine dining buffet serving 200-plus dishes, opened here in Kondapur on Tuesday.
Located in the Sahithi Sudha Square mall in Kondapur, Manchi Baphe offers a variety of cuisines that are sure to tickle the taste buds of many. From Dim sums, to pani puri, to nachos, at this restaurant, one can be spoiled for choice even before getting into the groove of eating.
There is something for every palate here, as there are about a half-a-dozen different vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters, the best being the crispy prawns and paneer. The main course, including the mutton biryani, miryala kodi, royyala iguru, rasam and bhaaji panner will not only leave you wondering as to what to eat first but will also leave you a full once done.
Coming to the desserts, tarts, mousses, doodh peda, pineapple pastries, badushahs, jalebi rabdi and many more will also keep your hands full. The portions in which they are all available, makes it easy for those with sweet tooth enjoy more varieties. There is also a stone ice-cream counter for ice cream lovers.
Founder and Executive Director of the restaurant Anil Kumar Pamarthi, says that the idea of offering good food at an affordable price gave the restaurant its name “Manchi Buphe”. The pricing at the restaurant is quite moderate for the variety on offer at Rs. 1,100 for vegetarian and Rs. 1,200 for non-vegetarian buffets. It is also a plastic-free zone and serves everything in reusable dishes.
