Hyderabad: MANUU plans medical college, launch of Unani courses

Hyderabad: The Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) is planning to establish a medical college in public and private partnership, besides launching Unani courses.
“Unani courses are in pipeline and the university is also planning to open a medical college in collaboration with public and private partnership,” the MANUU said on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Central University announced the launch of new programmes, including BTech in Civil Engineering, from the academic year 2025-26.
A PhD programme in Allied Health Sciences (MLT), advanced diploma in Pashto and four diploma programmes in Calligraphy, Telugu, Turkish and Urdu will be on offer for students during the academic year 2025-26. The BTech Civil Engineering programme is also being introduced through self-financing mode, while a LLM programme will be launched at CTE Darbhanga.
For the academic year 2025-26, 31 PhD, 33 PG, 19 UG, and eight professional diplomas, various diplomas and certificate courses will be on offer.
The university invited applications for online admission in regular mode courses offered at its main campus in Hyderabad, satellite campuses, Colleges of Teacher Education and polytechnics across the country for the academic year 2025-2026.
The last date for submission of online applications for entrance-based courses is May 13 whereas online applications for merit-based courses can be submitted up to June 4.
