Hyderabad: Marijuana laced chocolates seized in Shamirpet, one arrested

As per available information, Upender Mandal, a native of Bihar has been procuring each chocolate packet for Rs25 and sold the same for Rs 10,000 to other consumers and dealers in his shop

Hyderabad: The Excise Task Force (Medchal) team along with the local police raided a pan shop and nabbed one person in possession of marijuana laced chocolates at Thumkunta in Shamirpet on the city outskirts on Tuesday.

Officials seized about 85 packets of drug laced chocolates from him.

As per available information, Upender Mandal, a native of Bihar has been procuring each chocolate packet for Rs25 and sold the same for Rs 10,000 to other consumers and dealers in his shop.

The arrested person was produced before the court for remanding in judicial custody.
