Hyderabad: Mason dies, colleague injured after scaffolding collapse in Gachibowli

A mason died on the spot, and his colleague sustained serious injuries after falling from the fourth floor at a Gachibowli construction site when the bamboo scaffolding collapsed. Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Hyderabad: A mason died while his colleague suffered serious injuries when they both fell down from the fourth floor after a scaffolding broke at an under construction building at Gachibowli.

Two masons Chandrakumar (33) and Jamanna alias Vicky (23) were working at an underconstruction site at Raghavendra colony in Kondapur and taking up elevation designing works.


“The bamboo scaffolding broke down and the two persons fell on the ground from the fourth floor. Chandrakumar died on the spot due to the impact while Vicky suffered injuries and rushed to hospital,” said the Gachibowli police. A case is registered.
