Hyderabad: MCEME Commandant launches Dronalaya and Yantralaya in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: ‘Dronalaya’, a dedicated facility for drone technologies and ‘Yantralaya’, for the unmanned systems and robotics, have been commissioned at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME), Secunderabad, here on Wednesday.
These state-of-the-art facilities will enhance the training infrastructure of ARTRAC and Indian Army in using modern emerging technologies. They will also strengthen the operational readiness and technical proficiency of EME technicians in support of the Indian Army’s mission readiness.
Citing their contributions during Operation Sindoor, MCEME Commandant and Corps of EME Colonel Commandant Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney, who launched the facilities, appreciated the pivotal role of EME technicians in ensuring the operational effectiveness of the Army’s equipment.
Lt Gen Varshney also paid tribute to the bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice for the nation by laying a wreath at the EME War Memorial, Secunderabad, on the occasion of the 83rd EME Corps Day.
