Hyderabad: Medicover Hospitals, Hi-tech City, on Friday launched a state-of-the-art level one cardiac emergency care facility for patients. The new facility promises to improve survival rate among patients with severe cardiac emergencies by at least 80 per cent, a press release said.
The aim of the level one cardiac emergency care facility will be to reduce the rate of sudden deaths in acute heart stroke situations. The new facility will provide round-the-clock heart procedures, on-site heart pumps, mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices and cardiac expert teams.
Senior interventional cardiologist and chairman Medicover Group Dr Anil Krishna said, “Rapid assessment and initiation of therapy by the treatment team help ensure you have the best chance of survival and recovery from critical diagnosis. Medicover Hospitals has the first of its kind level one cardiac emergency care.”
Senior interventional cardiologist and Director, Medicover Group, Dr Sharath Reddy said the level one cardiac care centre will go a long way in improving outcome of sicker heart attack patients.
