Hyderabad: Banjara Welfare Association, Bapu Nagar, in association with Aster Prime Hospital, Ameerpet organised a day long free mega health camp at Bapu Nagar, SR Nagar on Sunday.
The mega health camp, which was inaugurated by Minister for Animal Husbandry, Talasani Srinivasa Yadav, was conducted by senior physicians from Aster Prime including Dr Raja Sekharan, Dr Murali Krishna along with nursing and paramedical staff. The team conducted various screening tests from 10 am till afternoon and provided requisite consultations and advice to the needy.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Srinivasa Yadav said such health camps were helpful for individuals residing in slum settlements, who tend to ignore early warnings given by their body with regard to health issues, a press release said.
Seshu Kumari, former Corporator, Ameerpet, Hari Singh Jadav, president, Bapu Nagar Banjara Welfare Association, members of the association and others were present.
