Hyderabad: A migrant construction worker died after he slipped and fell from an under construction flyover at Gachibowli early on Thursday.

The victim was identified as Mukutram Sidar, a native of Raigarh in Chattisgarh.

According to the police, Sidar, who came to the city eight months ago, was working at the flyover construction site. He along with his elder brother Chandramani Sidar slept on the flyover on Wednesday night. Around 1 am, Sidar is said to have rolled in his sleep and fell from the flyover, which had no sidewalls yet.

“He died on the spot,” said the Raidurgam police, who are investigating.
