Hyderabad: Mild tension prevails as BRS workers protest in Banjara Hills
Mild tension prevailed in Banjara Hills after BRS party workers staged a protest and burnt an effigy of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy near Telangana Bhavan. Police intervened, dispersed the protesters and restored traffic after a brief disruption.

Hyderabad: Mild tension prevailed near the Maharaj Agrasen statue close to Telangana Bhavan in Banjara Hills when several BRS party workers staged a protest and burnt an effigy of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Thursday.
The protest against the government for allegedly targeting the BRS party and its leaders and foisting cases led to a massive traffic jam in the surrounding areas.
The Banjara Hills police rushed to the spot, dispersed the protesters and brought the situation under control. Traffic movement was restored after a brief disruption.
BRS holds protest over SIT notice to KCR in Siddipet
Siddipet: BRS leaders and cadres staged a protest at BJR junction in Siddipet town on Thursday evening, registering their protest over SIT serving notices to former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
The BRS cadres set ablaze flexi banner of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, holding him responsible for SIT notices to Rao.
When the BRS cadres tried to block the traffic as part of rasta-roko, the police attempted to disperse them, resulting in mild tension.
