Hyderabad minister Ponnam Prabhakar urges proactive monsoon preparedness across departments

Ahead of anticipated heavy rains, Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar convened a coordination meeting with key officials from GHMC, HYDRAA, HMWSSB, and other departments to discuss precautionary measures aimed at minimising public inconvenience.

Hyderabad: All government departments must take proactive measures to address the challenges posed by the monsoon, Hyderabad In-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said.

In anticipation of heavy rainfall forecast for the coming days, the Minister held a coordination meeting on Sunday with the officials of GHMC, HYDRAA, HMWSSB, Revenue, TGSPDCL, Lakes Division and other wings.

He discussed various issues, including precautionary measures to prevent public inconvenience during the monsoon within the ORR, seasonal diseases and other related matters.
