Hyderabad: A minor boy was allegedly sodomized by a man in Chilkalguda on Thursday.
According to the police, the suspect G.Sathish (23), who works as an office boy in a private company in Parsigutta, noticed the boy playing in front of his house and took him to a nearby spot. He overpowered and sexually assaulted him, following which the boy ran to his house nearby and informed his parents.
Based on a complaint, a case was booked and is being investigated, the Chilkalguda police said, adding that the boy was sent for a medical examination. Once the reports were out, further action would be taken, police said.
Efforts are on to nab Sathish, who is absconding.
