Hyderabad: As part of Operation Smile in Cyberabad, the Madhapur Zone Operation Smile Team rescued two minor boys who were found engaged in child labour at a company in RC Puram, on Wednesday. Following a tipoff, the She Team, along with District Child Protection Unit officials, reached the spot and found the minor boys in their early teens working in a hazardous material handling company.
The two were counseled and handed over to the Child Welfare Committee officials for safe custody. They will soon be handed over to their parents, officials said. The management was counseled and warned of legal action apart from being served a notice.
