Hyderabad: Minor girl harassed on moving train

Hyderabad: A minor girl was harassed and sexually assaulted by a man on a moving train on the Raxaul – Secunderabad Express. The incident occurred on Wednesday, when the girl, along with her family from Odisha, was travelling in the train and went to the washroom around 2 am when the train reached Kelzar in Maharashtra.
As per available information, when the girl went into the washroom, the suspect followed and harassed her. He misbehaved with her and recorded the act on his mobile phone.
The anxious girl immediately informed her parents. On reaching the Secunderabad railway station, the girl’s parents lodged a complaint with the Government Railway Police (GRP), who booked a case and said it would be transferred to the local police on the point of jurisdiction.
The girl was taken to the Gandhi Hospital for medical examination. Efforts are being made to nab the suspect.
