Hyderabad: A one-year-old girl, who went missing on Sunday, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Miyapur on Monday.

The girl, Sony, who was playing near her house went missing. The family members, who realised that Sony was missing for a quite long time, began searching in the surroundings with the help of locals. They found her body in the neighbourhood beside a drum filled with water and her clothes wet.

The Miyapur police have taken up investigation. The body was shifted to the Osmania General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
