Hyderabad: A 35-year-old man, who went missing from his house on Wednesday, was found dead in the Durgam Cheruvu on Friday.

Chandresh Jain, a trader from Trimulgherry, had left his house and gone missing. Anxious family members, after searching for him in all possible places, later approached the police.

Based on a complaint from Jain’s family, the Alwal police booked a missing person case and took up the investigation.

Even as the family members and police were searching, his body was recovered from the lake. A rescue operation was conducted with the help of expert swimmers, and the body was retrieved.

Police suspect that Jain was upset following his father’s death and due to financial constraints, and may have ended his life. He was reportedly disturbed for the last few days.
