Hyderabad MLC polls: Mirza Riyaz Ul Hasan Effendi files nomination as AIMIM candidate

Mirza Riyaz Ul Hasan Effendi also served as MLC under MLAs quota in 2019 and after the term expired in 2023, the party fielded him again

Hyderabad: AIMIM candidate Mirza Riyaz Ul Hasan Effendi filed a nomination for the Hyderabad Local Authorities MLC constituency.

He worked as Noorkhan Bazar Corporator in 2009 and Dabeerpura Corporator in 2016.

He also served as MLC under MLAs quota in 2019 and after the term expired in 2023, the AIMIM fielded him again this time from Hyderabad Local Authorities MLC constituency.

From the BJP, Gautham Rao filed the nomination. Though two other independent candidates also filed nominations, a fight is expected between BJP and AIMIM candidates.

Friday was the last date for filing of nominations.
