Hyderabad: MLRIT hosts first International Conference in Sustainable Technology

The two-day event has global participation, with over 380 research papers submitted, of which more than 250 were carefully reviewed and accepted for publication in the conference proceedings.

Hyderabad: The Department of Mechanical Engineering at MLR Institute of Technology inaugurated the 1st International Conference on Advancements in Sustainable Energy, Materials, and Manufacturing Technology (ICASMMT- 2024) on Friday.

The two-day event has global participation, with over 380 research papers submitted, of which more than 250 were carefully reviewed and accepted for publication in the conference proceedings.

Conference Chair, Dr. K. Srinivas Rao, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in advancing sustainable technologies and co-chair Prof. M. Venkateswar Reddy, general chair Dr. M. Satyanarayana Gupta, and convener Dr. Balram Yelamasetti also addressed the gathering.

Keynote speeches were delivered by Dr. Amit Kumar Gupta and Dr. Jayaprakash Sharma from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad. Founder Secretary of MLR Institutions, Malkajgiri MLA Marri Rajasekhar Reddy asserted that the institute always encouraged such events for the benefit of student and teaching community.
