Hyderabad: Mohammad Ali of St Joseph’s Degree College crushed Virshin 2-0 in the final of the men’s table tennis event in the Late Samreddy Sudarshan Reddy Memorial State-level Sports Meet at the Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology, Bandlaguda, Hyderabad on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Tabitha from Bhavan’s Degree College defeated Ramya Sri of G Narayanamma Engineering College 2-0 to emerge champion in the table tennis women’s category.

Earlier, N Ramchander Rao, former member of Telangana Legislative Council inaugurated the sports meet. Samreddy Sunder Reddy, secretary of MIST, Dhananjay Reddy, joint-secretary MIST and Agnihotri, treasurer of MIST presented at the event.
