Hyderabad: The Mokila police have reportedly arrested ‘Lady Aghori’ alias Srinivas alias Shiva Vishnu Brahma Alluri on charges of cheating a woman to the tune of Rs 9.8 lakh by making false promises to solve her problems and cure her health issues.
As per available information, the self-proclaimed Aghori claimed to provide solutions to all problems of the complaint by performing ‘special pujas’, collected money and cheated her. When asked to return the money, Aghori threatened and kill her.
Based on the complaint from the woman, the Mokila police booked a case and took up investigation.
As part of the investigation, the police examined the surveillance cameras and other technical evidence and traced the Aghori to Uttar Pradesh and took the suspect into custody.
