Hyderabad: Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET), Hyderabad recently organised the Hack Revolution, a hackathon on the college campus.
The 15-hour long coding marathon was dedicated to developers and programmers to collaborate and build creative solutions while pushing the limits of their minds into creating innovations. Following the Covid-19 safety protocols, teams were restricted to 45.
Students from colleges including the MJCET, CBIT, MGIT, Vasavi, Lords etc., participated in the event organised by the Computer Science and Engineering Department under the aegis of Computer Society of India in collaboration with the Entrepreneurship Cell (E-cell) of the MJCET.
The participants were provided professional mentorship by seasoned experts practising in the industry. Reviews were conducted at regular intervals wherein the project ideas pitched by each team was assessed by the judging panel comprising of academicians and industry experts. Winners were given cash prizes of Rs 20,000 and internships.
Sultan Ul Uloom Education Society Secretary, Zafar Javeed and MJCET Advisor-cum-Director, Dr. Basheer Ahmed expressed happiness over the successful hackathon and congratulated the winners.
