Hyderabad: Multi-faith celebrations held on Buddha Purnima and Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti

Hyderabad: Multi-faith celebrations on the occasion of Buddha Purnima and Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti were organized by COVA Peace Network here on Saturday. The meeting at St Maria High School, Jangammet, also felicitated students and presentations were made on career options after 10th and 12th grades.

Participating in the multi-faith event, Tashi Choedup, a Buddhist Monk detailed the four noble truths in lift taught by Lord Buddha while Sangamitra Malik of Apna Watan explained the poetry and philosophy of Ravindranath Tagore. Participants from different religions participated in the program.


This was followed by presentation on careers after Grade 10th and Grade 12th by Syed Jaffer Hussain Quadri, Educationist and Gen Z Mentor. Nearly 55 students from localities of Jangammet who have passed class 10th and Class 12th in 2024-25 were felicitated on the occasion.
