Hyderabad: NCC AP & Telangana celebrates 78th NCC Day at Mehdipatnam

Hyderabad: The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Directorate Andhra Pradesh & Telangana celebrated the 78th NCC Day at Mehdipatnam Military Garrison, Hyderabad, with participation from serving and retired Defence personnel, NCC alumni, dignitaries and cadets.
The programme began with an impressive parade, followed by a salute to Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding, HQ Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, who was the chief guest. Cultural performances followed by a horse show and tent pegging by NCC cadets showcased discipline, teamwork and the spirit of NCC.
Major General Ajay Misra appreciated the cadets and highlighted the vital role of NCC in grooming responsible and motivated youth committed to national service.
Air Commodore Narsingh Sailani, Deputy Director General, NCC Directorate (AP & T), provided an overview of key achievements of cadets in All India level camps, like first position in Flag Area, Cultural performances in RDC 2025 at New Delhi and second position in All India Thal Sainik Camp (Girls).
