Hyderabad: New building for SR Nagar police station inaugurated

Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said the State government took up construction of new buildings for police stations on par with international standards.

Hyderabad: A new building for the SR Nagar police station was inaugurated by Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, the Home Minister said the State government took up construction of new buildings for police stations on par with international standards.

“Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao provided all the facilities and equipment to the police department as a result of which policing has improved and there are no communal riots or other disturbances in the State,” Mahmood Ali said, congratulating the Telangana police for the good work.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said uniformity of services and functioning was maintained at all police stations in the city. “Priority of modern policing is for the citizen. All policemen should first behave like citizens and then policemen,” he said.
